You are correct about the switching aspect, but the fact that you can’t place ads on WP, still is an issue. THAT HURTS:)

I have no experience with either, but I am thinking about going to straight for the paid web hosting and PW.org

Blogger as a platform is much simpler and is perfect for small/large scale blogging. Plus it is google product and thus reach out to google users (many in number) is easier.

I really would like to know because I've seen on other sites it has been but on others its saying it will be released July 11th 2008. Also, do you have to activate the iPhone when you get it or can you just use what else is on there like the Safari, Youtube, etc. I do also have Wi-Fi Connection at my home. Please reply. I use freeblogzone, I’m sick of blogger and wordpress.

FreeBlogZone.com is a new website, but brings many unique features in which both blogger and wordpress do not have.

They have a great support team, and seem to update things very frequently.

michael, am planning to setup my first blog & am choosing bet blogger & wordpress.com. i would like earn from my blog thru adsense, affiliates, direct ads or sponsors. i would like to encourage discussions & interactions from my readers. i would also want my posts to be sorted or categorized so that my reader can go direct to a category & read all the recent/previous posts/comments for that topic.as a service to my readers, i would like to put a box where readers can posts anything for sale or items they are looking for, future topics they want featured or help they need without cluttering or going off-topic on my regular posts. will appreciate if you could help me on this.

This is a great article. Thanks so much. I find that folks I coach in government settings often have networks that shun, ban and forbid access to blogger. So I teach from wordpress.com. The word BLOG is still a dirty word in some circles.
This was so good that I put it on my bloggingforboomers.com site along with Mr. Bill(smile)
