This is a great article. Thanks so much. I find that folks I coach in government settings often have networks that shun, ban and forbid access to blogger. So I teach from wordpress.com. The word BLOG is still a dirty word in some circles.
This was so good that I put it on my bloggingforboomers.com site along with Mr. Bill(smile)
Keep up the great work!

Maybe it's just me and my super high security settings in Norton, but I switched to wordpress because I often have trouble either logging into blogger or leaving comments on other people's blogger blogs using my bloggerid.

Still I think wordpress.com is one of the sweetest deals going!

@Elaine

Thanks a lot.. Elaine.
Yeah. I agreed. Wordpress.org is the best one.. im gonna move my blog to wordpress.org ( paid hosting).. i set up one "http://michaelsync.com" but not sure when i gonna move..

>>1. blogger.com doesn’t make it easy to import or export but there are hacks that allow you to do it.
hacks? why we need a hacks while wp allows people to import or export in very simply way.

>>blogger’s anti-spam devices are captchas, moderated comments, or no comments.
Yeah. blogger has three options for comments. but I think those are not so powerful as "Akismet" (maybe in my op. ) ya. anyway, we can say that blogger also has anti-spam..

>>the new blogger layout is almost identical to widgets
initially, they dont have it.. but ya.. they support widgets now..
I gonna update my list.

>>4. blogger blogs are automatically indexed by Google whereas other blogs are not. This means blogger blogs get search engine traffic slightly more easily than other blogs.
ya.. cuz blogger is a part of google. :) but <b>wordpress global tagging system works pretty well too </b>..

>>blogger blogs don’t handle tagging as well as wordpress blogs
you mean. we can't have tags in our blog? OR tagging system??

Actually, wordpress have both. they have Global tagging system.. and they have tag generator created by <a href="http://engtech.wordpress.com" rel="nofollow">engtech</a>. but it doesn't synchronize "wp cat" automatically. but user can update manually and put the "tag cloud" in their blogs.

>>blogger blogs tend to be more spam blogs/ splogs than wordpress blogs
this is good point..
I will update my list now..
Thanks for visiting my blog and your comment.

@Myo Kyaw Htun
Yeah. buddy. I gonna update.
