One year anniversary of my little blog

Yeah. Today is very special day of my blog. My blog is 1 year old now. I started this blog last year, on April 3, 2006. (Before that, I was on blogger. I started trying to blog since October 2005. Here is my old blog. But due to many reasons, I couldn’t blog that much on blogger at that time. then, I shifted to wordpress.com which is allow users to categorize their posts.). I’ve been here for 1 year and It’s been one of the best years of my life. If you’d like to know the reason why I started this blog then you may check in “About Me” page.

I’d like to show you about the stat of my blog, some of my friends and some milestones of my blog within this year.

My blogging experience for this year

Well, pretty good. I’ve learnt a lot of things about blogging this year. I think blogging is really great and I really enjoyed in doing that. I met with a lot of cool bloggers. I’ve learnt a lot of thing from them. However, I also had some difficult time as well.

Anyway, I’m glad that there are some regular reader who used to read my blog. I do appreciate for your support. You all are the person who make my blog better. Thanks a lot.

The Plan for next year

Moving my blog to the paid hosting ~ I may probably move my blog to paid hosting very soon. Actually, I won the prize “free domain name and hosting for one year” from woldly.org via engtech. As I already have my domain name michaelsync.net , I informed them to register michaelsync.com as my new blog name for that new blog. However, michaelsync.net will be primary domain for my blog. So, no one will need to change my blog url or my feed url. I will export/import all of my content to my new host after some time.then, I will change the DNS name of my blog url to wordly. But I’m still not sure when I gonna move.
Guest Bloggers ~ I might invite some guest bloggers for my blog. what I like to do is that I’d like to invite everybody to submit their articles if they wanna publish on my blog. (something like codeproject but small one )
Ads ~ still thinking about that. but currently, I don’t like to see any ads on my blog.
Podcast and Interview
Better articles and better writing ~ This is a must for my blog and myself. I know that I’m not very good at writing. I know that I need an improvement for that. So, I’m currently working so hard to improve my writing. I’ll try to made the best for my article as much as I can.

Good Work Michael and congratulations for the one year completion and excellent statistics.It’s a great thing you wrote those post and thanked everyone and showed the statistics.Wordpress really helps when it comes to hits,I’ve seen that with a huge number of hits coming my way too.I just hope Wordpress.org is as good.
