Update:

Unfortunately, this widget seems doesn’t work well so far. I have tried to add two or three times but it doesn’t work. It just keep on showing the following message ~

No files!
If you are the owner of this widget, click below to upload

It’s so sad.. I hope that wp.com will fix this issue as soon as possible.. maybe. that’s why wp.com hasn’t announced about this in their blog.

Have you tried to add it? What do u think about this brand new widget??

Update:

  1. Hello,

If you are seeing that message, its because you havent uploaded any files into the widget.

First, create the widget here, by uploading some files

    http://www.box.net/widget

Then, after customizing the widget, copy and paste the provided code into that wordpress box, and it’ll work.

If you ever want to add/remove files, just log into box with the email address and password you chose while uploading.

    Enjoy

  2. Hi magic5227,

I have two public folders called tech and ebooks in box.net. i’ve already grasped HTML codes for this widget. and have pasted in sidebar. but it doesn’t work…

  3. Hi Michael,

Make sure your code is for the “simple” widget, not the white advanced one. I’ve contacted wordpress, and both should work soon, but for now, only the smaller widget will work on the sidebar.

For now, you have to create a widget here

    http://www.box.net/widget/wordpress

Copy that code and it should work.
When you want to remove/change/add files, just log into box and go to that folder and make changes.
