Would you believe if I say that it’s possible to be MCPD Certified by giving only one upgraded exam?Let me tell you a bit more about upgrading your MCAD, MCSD to MCPD ( One of the new generation certification of Microsoft). Microsoft release three types of MCPD Certification such as Web Developer, Windows Developer and Enterprise Developer as a part of new generation certificates. The answer for the question “how many papers you need to clear to earn MCPD certificate” is that it depends on what you wanna be. Suppose: If you are MCAD or MCSD and wanna earn MCPT-Web Developer Certification, you only need to give just ONLY ONE EXAM (Exam 70-551) as upgrading..
